Accounting Equation, Inc. is a growing bookkeeping services firm specializing in QuickBooks. We are looking for a trustworthy individual who can work on multiple companies each week, provide great customer service, and be responsible for training, review and oversight to Staff Bookkeepers who provide bookkeeping services to businesses in various service-related industries. We are built similar to Public Accounting, but without the Audits, Tax Returns, or Overtime! Enjoy a flexible schedule with a variety of clients.

Qualifications:

• CPA with 4 years’ experience in Public Accounting (tax knowledge preferred)
• QuickBooks Pro-Adviser certification or willingness to become a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor
• Knowledge of all areas of Full Charge Bookkeeping
• Responsibilities include:
  • Train/Educate Staff Bookkeepers and Clients
  • Review Staff Bookkeepers work/QuickBooks files
  • Light payroll (or coordination of payroll with processor)
  • WA B&O Taxes (Questions, set up, and review Staff Bookkeepers’ work)
  • Meeting with clients to review their accounts and discuss their needs
  • Communication of information with our clients’ Tax Preparers (we do not prepare Federal Tax Returns).

• Proficient software skills, including Excel, Outlook, OneNote
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Manage Projects/Tasks efficiently

Hours: 32-40 hours per week, depending on desire of candidate for full-time or less. No overtime expected. Very flexible schedule.

Travel: Occasional travel within the greater Seattle/Bellevue area.

Pay: Salary plus Bonus Opportunity, DOE
